The Devon Family History Society 
The Society's objects are to promote the study of genealogy and history, especially of Devon families and places, to educate the public therein through advice and instruction, and, for the public benefit, to encourage the preservation and transcription of relevant documents and records, especially for the county of Devon.

The Devon History Society 
The Society aims to promote the advancement of the study of history within Devon by: Organising meetings, seminars and visits that aim to promote and stimulate interest in Devon's history. Regularly publishing a journal and other publications made available to the members and encouraging and co-ordinating historical research amongst the membership

The Devonshire Association - Okehampton and District
The Devonshire Association is a non profit-making body, founded in 1862 and dedicated to the study and appreciation of all matters relating to Devon. It is the only society concerned with every aspect of the county and is the only one of its kind in Britain.

Devon Heritage Centre 
The Devon Heritage Centre collects and preserves historical records of Devon and and the web site also offers links to many other aspects of the county.

The Devon Rural Archive 
The DRA was established in 2006 to provide a resource for historians, archaeologists, genealogists and the general public studying the heritage of the County.
